Squash Professional

Boston

Throughout his four decades of dedicated mentorship and coaching, Mohammad Ayaz has worked with thousands of students, from beginners to professionals. During his decade as the assistant squash coach at Harvard University, he help lead the players on the Men’s and Women’s Teams to win college individual championships, team championships, and Howe Cups. As a coach and mentor of his own independent elite training program for nearly twenty five years, he guided US junior players toward achievement and growth both on and off the court. Students from this program have represented US National Junior Squash Teams at World Junior championships, The British Open and the US Open, won US Nationals and International Junior tournaments, and also competed in professional squash tournaments. In the summers, Mohammad directed Harvard’s squash camps as well as his own intensive independent summer camps for both US and international players in the European Junior squash circuit. In the 2024-25 season, he joined Trinity College as an assistant coach and helped lead the Women’s Squash team to win the National Championship.

Many of his fondest memories of his career are of building strong and lasting relationships with a diverse range of students—training, competing, and sharing valuable life experiences. He looks forward to bringing this same spirit of growth and collaboration to the SquashBusters community.
