Tuesday, October 30th marked SquashBusters’ 3rd annual Breakfast with Champions – a day we broke down walls and brought together people from different circumstances, all in the name of improving the SQB program and strengthening our community.
Each summer, SquashBusters connects our students to life-changing opportunities to travel, learn, and play - including the Urban Squash Citizenship Tour. Check out the blog post from Kiara, SQB Boston '18, about being a part of this year's Tour!
Another year comes to an end at SquashBusters, and we're thrilled to look back on year of extraordinary accomplishments - from stepping up the squash culture to sending another full class of graduates to college.
With the support of corporate sponsors like MFS, SquashBusters raised more than $1.38 million over the course of 2.5 days, all of which will impact 350 young people who benefit from the sports-based development program.
Halfway through the 2017-2018 program year, SquashBusters keeps going and growing. A brand-new team of Providence sixth-graders signs on, the Posse Foundation selects an SQB senior for the third year in a row, and Boston's varsity team heads down to Philly for their first-ever high school nationals. Meanwhile, the Derby's just around the corner!
The SquashBusters story is one of community. We are excited to share with you our 2016-2017 Impact Report, so you can meet the students, alumni, volunteers and supporters who make the SquashBusters community a truly special one.
