Oakland Fund for Public Innovation
Juma’s career has centered around bringing greater educational and life opportunities to young people of color. He currently serves as CEO of the Oakland Fund for Public Innovation. Previously, he was President of the Lewis Family Foundation (LFF), which focuses on helping Dorchester, Mattapan, and Roxbury youth succeed. LFF is a close partner of SQB, offering summer employment and world travel to more than 15 SQB high schoolers over the years through its Next Generation Leaders program. Juma serves on SQB’s Program and CEO Succession Committees and co-hosts the annual Breakfast with Champions.
