Volunteer Opportunities – Lawrence

SquashBusters runs on the power of its dedicated volunteers, who spend time with our students on court and in the classroom.

Squash

Squash Coaching If you’re an experienced and energetic squash player, we need you on court!

We ask that volunteers commit to volunteering at least once a week on a consistent day (for example, every Monday). Practices take place at Brooks School and Phillips Academy.

Squash Mentoring Looking to help a young person make some serious strides in squash? Squash mentors meet with one student regularly for individual practice sessions.

Academics

students studying with volunteerHomework Help Whether you’re great at writing, math, or just getting organized, you’ll be a big help during homework sessions.

Enrichment In these sessions, you’ll help high school students write resumes, prepare for the SAT, apply for summer jobs and more.

For both opportunities above, we ask that volunteers are with us at least once a week on a consistent day (for example, every Monday) at Brooks or Phillips.

College Mentoring Support an SQB senior as they navigate the college application process. You’ll meet weekly to research schools, work on personal statements, and check in on deadlines.
